Distilleries & Breweries

Waste from
distilleries both
liquids and solids
can be converted into biogas.

Biogas, or renewable natural gas is the name given to the mixture of methane and carbon dioxide that are formed whenever organic materials decompose in the absence of air.  This process is known as anaerobic digestion (AD)

By utilising their waste and converting it into biogas it can then be turned into renewable heat, electricity and cooling by using a CHP at a much higher efficiency than a conventional boiler.
