CooperÖstlund’s newly-appointed Senior Business Development Manager Stephen Bandey brings more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector to his latest role.

Steve has held board and director positions during his career, which includes experience working on global projects at operational, technical and commercial levels.

An engineer by trade, Steve has worked for numerous energy-based manufacturing and service companies serving the public, private and corporate sectors.

Alongside his own energy companies in the UK, Uganda, Bangladesh and France, Steve has also offered his expertise in the development of new businesses in Mozambique and the UK.

Steve has also worked with international clients to improve the energy supply in developing countries, and has travelled to Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Far East.

Steve is looking forward to bringing a detailed-orientated approach to his new role at CooperÖstlund, along with a positive attitude and an eagerness to work with clients and fellow colleagues at a strategic level.

Outside of work, Steve is happiest spending time with his family, and enjoying his passion for vintage cars, sports, travelling and the outdoors.

Previous voluntary roles include a fire officer, female football coach, school governor and officer in the Boys’ Brigade.
