Syngas – Synthesis Gas

Many CHP engine
manufacturers have
adapted their engines
to run on syngas.

Syngas has 50% of the energy density of natural gas.  It is used as a fuel source but cannot be burned directly, and can be used as a fuel to manufacture steam and electricity.

Syngas is a mixture of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrogen. The raw materials used for the creation of Syngas are coal, petroleum based materials or other materials that are rejected as waste.
