CooperOstlund has further expanded its highly-experienced sales team to drive long-term commercial growth across the natural gas and biogas sectors.
Steve Jephcott and Nigel Thompson, who join the company with immediate effect, will be responsible for directing new business development across Scotland, Lincolnshire, East Anglia and the Midlands. Steve brings experience from companies including JCB Power Products and Aggreko, while Nigel moves to CooperOstlund from power generation equipment manufacturer Finning UK.
The new appointments bolster CooperOstlund’s activities in key geographic regions and support its continued expansion into natural gas operations. The CHP expert, which manages 100MW of energy assets across the UK, is renowned nationwide for its experience across almost every make and model of co-generation engine.
Tim Broadhurst, Chief Commercial Officer at CooperOstlund, commented: “Expanding our highly-experienced sales team comes as part of a continued strategic ambition to further build our client base and develop long-term opportunities across the natural gas sector.
“With engineering teams spanning the UK, we pride ourselves on delivering friendly service and effective call-out response times for customers nationwide. This, alongside our ability to solve any engine issue, makes us the number one choice for operations and maintenance support.
“I’m delighted to welcome Steve and Nigel to the CooperOstlund team. With significant experience across a wide range of roles and markets, I’m confident that they will both prove a valuable addition to our team. As we continue to grow, their insight and expertise will prove pivotal to helping realise our ambitious growth targets.”
